Mod India restaurant was established in November 2020 by Sudha Joshi, resident of Chadds Ford, PA. Sudha’s ultimate goal is to ensure the total satisfaction of each and every guest. She believes the two most important ingredients are high quality food and unrivaled customer service. She strongly believes in providing a family-like atmosphere for her guests. This is consistent with the founding principles of Mod India.

 

         Sudha, at a very young age -- promised her grandfather, (a restaurateur in India) --that she would grow up and continue his legacy. Sudha learned how to cook from her grandfather, and incorporated his style and core values into her business. After working in the corporate world for nearly 20 years, Sudha decided it is time to fulfill the promise she made to her grandfather. In 2018, Sudha established Rasa Indian Cuisine that she eventually merged with Mod India.
